FAQ
THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
Being two separate artists in a convention scene while being a couple, people already assumed we were one big brand. So we took that notion and combined our love of cats, coffee, culture, art, and games to create one cohesive brand together.
We thought a lot about what to name ourselves when we rebranded, actually.
Things that are important to us, we wanted to pay homage to; but we wanted to make sure to do it in a fun way.
That's because before Kopi Kandiko was born, the artists were two separate studios!
Previously, Kopi Kandiko was the creator of Matcha Man Studio and Pasdeerie.
So don't fret! The photos you see aren't stolen, we just haven't had a chance to rename each and every one with our new brand!
But you can still find both artists individually on their Instagrams!
This one is easy!
We are a couple and always table next to each other anyway! So why not combine and that way we are guaranteed to be together! Plus, all the money ends up in the same household, so rather than have two separate businesses to care for, do the taxes for, and everything, we decided it would be smarter to combine!
Yes!
Eli is a graphic designer by day and has a degree in fine arts. His artwork can be found here and on instagram!
Tiff is a 3D entertainment arts student who does everything from illustration to modeling 3D environments, weapons, and characters!
You can request anything you want.
However, that doesn't mean we will necessarily work on it! We do love to hear what people are looking for and enjoy getting to know a bit about our customers, but just because one thing is asked for doesn't mean we will immediately start working on it. Kopi Kandiko enjoys making art of things we like, so we only make things we have watched, played or love.
As for commissions;
These may open periodically, but we are both very busy individuals. Eli works a day job as well as doing conventions at least twice a month. Tiff is a student and constantly building her portfolio while doing conventions.
More than likely, you will find that we are too busy for commissions. Sorry to disappoint!
